//-->[contents][68]LETTER FROM THE EDITORWhen I was younger, I wasparticularly taken withMadonna’s song More,from the movie Dick Tracy.I adored all the songsfrom the film, but Morein particular stuck out –possibly because it also had a hand-wavingdance routine to go with it. Madonna, comicbooks and Sondheim: it didn’t take anyone longto figure out where that was all going... I stilllove More today, and it’s one of a few songs I’llattempt – badly, of course – to sing in the showerbefore a day at GT beckons. Mainly becauseit’s become something of a way of thinkingwhen it comes to the mag you’re holding now.‘Nothing’s better than more...’ We’re a smallteam – with a lovely network of people that alsocontribute, but it’s not like Ugly Betty, sorry –and it made me laugh recently when someonecommented there was ‘too much’ in GT. Oops!That’s my bad. Our designer jokes that I thinkwe can somehow defy physics, as each monthwe find we have too much material for themagazine. So if I had my way, you’d be gettingeven more. And while we did try our best to bendtime and space, we’ve had to put a completesecond shoot with Collabro – who I’m delightedto have back in GT once more – in our digitaledition. Yes, yet again there’s ‘too much’, butas Madonna sang: ‘If you’ve got a little, whynot a lot?’ So you’ll need to check out gaytimes.co.uk for even more material we just couldn’tfit here. Surely that makes us the best valuefor money gay magazine? Surely we shouldjust stop at that? No? No! Of course not!
